Re: Keepers in Dynasty
23 man roster with 15 reserves in season. You can keep 12 MLB players and 8 MILB (ROY ab/ip limits) going into the draft. But after the draft the MILB players go into the Reserves just like MLB players. No separate Minors Draft, all players in CBS are eligible to be drafted. So like you said I want ...

Re: Keepers in Dynasty
Thanx for the feedback Todd. While they call this a Dynasty league (because there is no contracts I guess), having only 12 MLB Keepers each year, my thought is to play it like a league with 3 year contracts. Pretty much trying to have the best MLB players each year and cash. They do allow 8 MILB Kee...

Keepers in Dynasty
I just joined a 15 team Dynasty 5x5, no salary/contracts, 12 MLB Keepers 8 MILB Keepers each year, 23 man active roster 15 Reserves. This is my first league with no contracts or being a Redraft league. At a high level, Im wondering about a couple of positions on whether to keep a younger guy over a ...

3B Openings in AL
Hey Todd .... do you have time to do a analysis of the 3B situation in the AL with DeRosa being traded and Beltre going under the knife? Thanx

L. Montanez vs. A. Jones or G. Matthews
Looking for a pickup to replace Vlad. Montanez had a great year last year, but is hitting lots of GB (56%) to start this year. Matthews is starting to get more PT but is showing very little power. Andruw Jones has his CT% back up to pre-2008 levels and is driving the ball. Of course these are all sm...

Re: Seattle Closer
I dont think this is a rumor anymore. It was announced that Morrow would be the close. Evidently was decided about a week ago.

Hayden Penn - quality End Gamer?
It's looking like Hayden Penn might break camp with a spot in the Orioles rotation. He isnt listed in the Pitcher's Profile worksheet to this point so he might have fallen off of everyone's radar. His 2005/2006 seasons in AA/AAA were top notch. K/9 ~ 9.2, K/BB ~ 3, WHIP ~ 1.20. Pretty strong #'s. Th...

Re: Projection Variations
...The way I have compared the two sets of projections is to use draft preparation software (rotolab) which is equipped with HQ projections and $ and compare the $ values with those produced by Paul using the same splits in both cases (the ones appropriate for the particular league). .... True you ...

Re: Platinum forum
Keep the cards and letters coming --- I have a thought, but want to talk with Gary first. I am more concerned that MB be a viable self sustaining business venture that I can leverage as a paying customer. If that means no free access I am 110% behind that. What I dont want is the replay of FantasyB...

does anyone know of a metric that quantifies a team defense? I would like to run some numbers in relation to pitching metrics.

Does RotoLab import from CSV or some other format for a mass import?shif6 wrote:Merv's software allows you to put in dollar values from as many as four sources to put along side the HQ values.
