Is he worth adding in an NL-only 5x5 with 11 batters per team? (The league does not have the usual 14 batters - only 4 OFs, 4 INFs, 1 C, & 2 Util). Seems like there's only direction for him to go after such a hot start and that playing time may be an issue, but on the other hand if it's the star...

Thanks, big kid. And no, Captain, we have no minor leaguers in this league (not at the draft and not during the year). The league is also not big on trading, with maybe one or two trades per year total, but I'll look at other rosters. Maybe there's a win-win possibility where I give up a couple of g...

5x5 NL only. A few rules: 11 hitters including only 1 catcher, 7 pitchers (no more than 2 SP can be kept, and staff must have at least 4 SP and 2 RP), and dynasty with a twist - while any one or two players can be kept indefinitely, there is a point max prohibiting keeping three or more indefinitely...

In my last reply I actually confused Addison Reed with Addison Russell . Agree. I'd toss Reed back. With Hosmer's expected numbers and half of the other top 1B being kept, it seems like a good idea to keep him, and then Moore + Anderson give you the chance of some strong & cheap SP.

I am in the EXACT same boat as you, complete with McCarthy, Cobb, Morales, and now only 4 SP's with Morales out of the rotation. My league's a 4x4, so the lack of a starter is not as important due to no Ks category, and McCarthy will hopefully return soon, at which point I'll probably drop Cobb beca...

Hello MBallers,
5x5 NL-only 9 team league, with 5 keepers per team. We can keep players forever. It's a one-catcher league. I will have the second pick. Whom do you recommend as the top 2 of these possibilities:
Dee Gordon
Buster Posey
Jimmy Rollins
Rickie Weeks

If I do that, I'll be full at OF because the league only has 4 OF spots, but I guess that doesn't matter.
