Importing new CVRC into Draft worksheet
Is anyone else having an issue with updating the draft sheet with the new numbers? When I "Hit the "Ret/$V" button" the results are pretty screwed up.

Re: CVRC Question
Did Utley's values get mixed up? His stats on the player tab (Hits, R etc) are the same but when I run the app with my league setting he is worth 11 and before he was 35?

OPS
I realize to calculate OPS it is OBP + SLG %, what I can figure out is how to add this as a category of on the draft worksheet. I read and tried to use the instructions from the pdf with no success. Any and all help would be greatly appreciate.

Can a second UT be added to S.TA.R.T?
I think I read somewhere that I could but when I search for S.T.A.R.T I don't get any hits. I apologize if this is a duplicate question.

Gents,
Maybe I am losing my mind (always possible at this time fo year) or neither IRod nor H Ramirez are included on the hitters tab.
Thanks
Tim

Re: Other auction tactics
I've seen it work BUT you need to ensure I am not the other guy if it is someone I have targetted as must have. I rarely go into a draft locked on one person but sometimes I do. I am willing to pay more than their perceived value for those players. In fact, I may even slap you with a jump bid. I too...

In my opinion keep Cruz. I don't think Aviles is a flash in the pan but Cruz has the real potential to be more.

Re: Projections or Predictions, Chasing Stats and Skills
I've tried it using two laptops but I would multiple windows works best. I am so use to using chat functions, email, and phone at for work that it seems pretty easy to keep up with. In fact last football seasons I had two of my drafts overlap briefly. That I wont be doing again.

Re: Young pitchers and draft day
All good points and I agree that for alot of these pitchers there are known pitchers. One of mine is also Meche and another is Lilly. For the prices in auction (or draft positions) they can be had for good value. Thanks for your thoughts. Anyone else?

Young pitchers and draft day
We all do it, look for the next young pitcher that is going to make a major move in the upcoming year. I always have one, if not two, young arms I target to fill out my rotation. This is where I see the following pitchers rate in relation to each other for this coming season. To put focus on this di...

Re: Projections or Predictions, Chasing Stats and Skills
I agree that rotolab helps with auction rather than hinder them. I also used Fantistics for an auction last year. It is pretty much on par with rotolab for features and it also comes with a bunch of other tools you can access for post draft. It is slightly more expensive if you are a rotolab repeat ...

My gut says 2009. I've even read there is a slight possibility that Cahill could win the 5th rotation spot out of camp. Training camp will tell all.

As we all know the BoSox have been active this winter signing additional pitchers. Where does this Buchholz? I was thinking his break out would be in a year or two but now I am thinking it is more like 2 to 3 or more with all the pitchers that are currently ahead of him? What is everyone else's thou...

Viper and rotodog. Thanks for this it made total sense. Last year I took part in my first auction 5x5 draft. I was a real eye opener and your words put the concepts in my head in order and clearer. I really appreciate your perspective. Very good points and food for thought for sure. As for Rollins vs Utley that has been the point I have been wrestling with the most. Anyone else have additional thoughts on this. I am fairly new to fantasy baseball and enjoy learning from others.

Keep 6 to 12
Gents, I am in a 13 team rotisserie league. Last year we had 12 owners, we lost one and added two. So we have two expansion teams that will head into the auction with their full 260 cap. Towards the ends of last season I successfully made a charge for the championship. Part of that charge saw many t...

Looking fro Keeper league/Auction
Looking for another league to join. My preference is for a keeper league with a cap. I'll take over a team but would rather join a new league.
Thanks
