Best tool for a 6x6 league that has both BA and OPS category
I'm in a 12 team 6x6 league where both BA and OPS are hitting categories. For the hitters, is it better to use the BA rankings or the OBP rankings (to approximate OPS)? Or, is there a way to set up the CRVC to handle this situation?

Corey Kluber or Erasmo Ramirez
Quien es mas macho? I wanted to draft Kluber late, but he was sniped one pick before I was going to take him. That owner dumped him after his rough first start. He is eligible to be picked up tomorrow. I could spend my #3 waiver claim and be virtually assured of getting him (though I'd prefer to sav...

Beachy and Garza both dropped last night. Worth picking up?
Starting rotation is currently Strasburg, Lee, Peavy, Fister, Bailey and Cashner. Only have 2 DL spots that are currently being used for Crisp and Madson. I'm hoping Crisp comes off the DL around this time next week and I am planning on dropping Adam Dunn when he does (it would be either him or Jon ...

Re: Wandy killed me tonight. Cut bait?
Thanks Perry. We are limited to four add/drops during any single week, so we can't go too nuts. But, in general, I agree with you and am not a fan of the format. That being said, I can't seem to buy a win to save my life lately so I'll see how this works.

Would streaming Hammel (or Maurer) and Cashner in the meanti
be a bad move? Since my ERA and WHIP are already in the tank for the week, I was thinking I could try to fish for wins by dropping Wandy and plugging in Hammel against the Mariners tonight and then immediately dropping him for Cashner against the Cubs tomorrow. I could then either keep Cashner for h...

Wandy killed me tonight. Cut bait?
He had two very good outings earlier, but can't help but think I'm going to have a hard time trusting him in my lineup now. Am I overreacting or should I look to swap him out with someone on waivers? He's my 6th SP (already have Strasburg, Lee, Peavy, Fister and Bailey), but wins have been hard to c...

Interesting trade offer put toward me
Another owner has offered me Ryan Zimmerman for Jake Peavy and Coco Crisp. On the surface, this looks pretty good to me as I would appear to have the SP and OF depth to withstand those departures (plus, Crisp and Peavy are possible injury risks in their own right). I would think Zimm would be a nice...

Thanks for the quick reply
I picked up Alburquerque and dropped McGee. And, you're completely right that you did not advise me to drop Maxwell, though with his injury from last night it's probably just as well that I did with McGee now having been dropped anyway. Do you anticipate that the naming of Valverde as closer changes...

Now need to drop somebody
Following your advice, I dumped A Rod and Justin Maxwell and picked up Jay and Rosenthal. Unfortunately, Mujica had already been picked up a couple of days before I posted that message. Rosenthal has given me 3 holds since I picked him up, so that has worked out nicely. Jay, not so much, but hopeful...

Thanks for the response
Perry, Thanks for your input and also for referring this site over on footballguys. Given that it's a 14-team league, the waiver wire pickings are a bit slim, but with the short bench, there are some guys out there I think could help. Both Herrera and Santos are gone, but Rosenthal is available. Her...

Two weeks in - still curious to get opinions
A couple of changes/clarifications to what I posted originally: 1) The league is H2H and not roto. Each statistical category counts as a W or L for the week when compared against your H2H opponent. 2) There are 18 starting positions and 5 spots on the bench. There are 3 starting spots for RP as oppo...

First draft ever - What now?
My first time playing fantasy baseball. 14 team league. 6X6 format (BA, HR, RBI, R, SB (net), Total Bases -- W, ERA, WHIP, K/9, SV, Holds). 17 starters, 6 bench, 2 DL. Must start 4SP, 2RP, 1 additional P (SP or RP), 1 at each IF position, 1 additional IF, 3 OF, 1 additional utility at any position. ...
